Article #120: NS P60/P71 w/ GP60 7107 West Oyama Yard Hickory, NC (March 4, 2026)
In this new article we will be looking at NS P60/P71 from March 4, 2026 at the west end of Oyama Yard in Hickory, NC. The lead locomotive on this day was GP60 7104. The train ran westbound to Morganton, NC running the route of P71. P71 originates at Oyama Yard and runs to Morganton serving local industries on that route. 7104 was running long hoof forward.
