Article #122: NS 107 w/ D9-40CW 9900 and AC44C6M 4953 Old Fort, NC (April 18, 2026)

 

In this new article, we will be looking at NS 107 arriving at Old Fort, NC back on April 18, 2026. The train made a ceremonial stop in Old Fort at the passenger station, which is now a museum. The train was stopped for a little while where people could get photos or videos of the train. The location where the train stopped is right in downtown Old Fort. Many people were on hand to see this train make history as the train was heading for Asheville, NC.
