Article #111: Amtrak 75 w/ F59PH 1859 Salisbury Station, NC (June 18, 2016)

 

In this new article, we will be taking a look at Amtrak 75 (Piedmont) with F50PH 1859 as the rear unit. 1810 was the lead locomotive on the train that day.

This train originates in Raleigh, NC in the early afternoon and terminates in Charlotte, NC in the early evening. It usually arrives at Salisbury around 3 pm.

F59PH 1859 is the City of High Point locomotive which was built in 1988 as GO Transit #534 made its debut on the Piedmont trains back in April of 2012.
