Article #103: NS 135 w/ UP 5514 & D8-40CW 8375 Hickory, NC (July 24, 2017)

 

In this new article, we will be taking a look at NS 135 westbound through Hickory, NC back in July of 2017. 

The two locomotives on the train this day consisted of Union Pacific 5514 and D8-40CW 8375. Every now and then, this train would have foreign power. That would include locomotives of UP, BNSF, CSX, Canadian National and Canadian Pacific to name a few.

This train came through not too long after an empty coal train (745) went by in the same direction.
