Article #81: NS 750 w/ D9-40CW's 9563 & 9554 + SD70M 2620 & SD70M-2 2760 Hickory, NC (October 28, 2013)

 

In this new article we look at NS 750 by Hickory, NC eastbound back on October 28, 2013. The train had four locomotives consisting of D9-40CW's 9563 and 9554 along with SD70M 2620 and SD70M-2 2760. 750 ran the entirety of the Asheville District from Asheville, NC to Salisbury, NC. At Salisbury, the train would diverge onto the Salisbury wye so they could head towards Belmont, NC. The train here is around Milepost S56.7.
