Article #76: NS 135 w/ D9-40CW 9099 + D8-40CW's 8390 & 8394 East Oyama Yard Hickory, NC (September 4, 2013)

 

In this new article we are going to look at another train that was seen in 2013 which was NS 135 meeting eastbound 162 at the east end of Oyama Yard in Hickory, NC. The three locomotives on the train this day consisted of D9-40CW 9099 and D8-40CW' s 8390 and 8394. The train went into the passing siding as 162 was on the mainline. This spot used to see a good number of meets every now and then.
