Article #74: NS P71 w/ GP38-2 5280 Running Light Downtown Hickory, NC (March 20, 2023)

 

In this new article we are looking at NS P71 with GP38-2 5280 on March 20, 2023. P71 runs daily originating at Oyama yard in Hickory, NC up to Morganton, NC and the makes a turn back east to Hickory. This day, the train was running light eastbound back to the yard. Here and there, P71 runs light, westbound or eastbound. 5280 still has the old Norfolk Southern paint scheme with the old logo.
