Article #71: NS P71 w/ GP59 4618 & GP60 7125 Downtown Hickory, NC (November 26, 2019)

 

In this new article we are lok=oking at NS P71 going by Downtown Hickory, NC back on November 26, 2019. P71 runs daily originating out of Oyama yard in Hickory, NC and runs up to Morganton, NC and then makes a turn back east to Hickory. The power on the train this day consisted of GP59 4618 and GP60 7125. The GP59's at this poin in time were geting rare, they were retired shortly after this train. The location is around Milepost 57 on the Asheville District S-Line. The train here is heading eastbound back to Oyama. On this day, the train ran a litle bit further west up to Bridgewater, NC.
