Article #69: Amtrak 76 w/ CCU 102 & F59PH 1869 Lexington, NC (October 23, 2025)
In this new article we take a look at Amtrak 76 heading northbound through Lexington, NC with CCU 102 and F59PH 1869. Amtrak 76 runs between Charlotte, NC and Raleigh, NC in the evening hours. CCU stands for Cab Control Unit in relation to the lead locomotive. This engine started out on GO Transit and then was rebuilt at the Norfolk Southern Juniata Locomotive Shop.
