Article #68: Amtrak 77 w/ F59PHI 1755 & 30th Anniversary F59PH 1893 Lexington, NC (October 23, 2025)

 

In this new article we take a look at Amtrak 77 heading southbound through Lexington, NC back on October 23rd. This train came through right after the rear of intermodal 28R passed by. The two locomotives on the train were F59PHI 1755 and F59PH 1893 which is painted in the 30th anniversary paint scheme. That pant scheme is the first paint scheme that the NCDOT locomotoives had back in the 1990's. The locomotive was reapinted back in May of this year.
