Article #57: NS P71 w/ GP38-2 5345 at Longview & Hickory, NC (November 4th, 2020)

 

In this new article we are looking at NS P71 heading eastbound through Longview, NC and Hickory, NC back on November 4, 2020. The lead and only locomotive was GP38-2 5345. Before heading through town, the train switched out Carolina Container, which is the main customer that this train serves in Longview. Here is the train is right at Milepost 60.
