In this new article we are looking at the power of NS 743 empty coal train at Claremont, NC back on September 7, 2020. The train had ES44AC 8047, SD70ACe 1092 and AC44C6M's 4183 and 4299. The units were running around the train at Claremont to head eastbound towards Salisbury, NC. In this top photo we see 8047 leading the way before the crew switches sides.
