Article #49: Caldwell County Railroad GP16's 1811 & 1747 Hickory, NC (April 12 ,2025)

In this new article we get a look at the Caldwell County Railroad yard in Hickory, NC back on April 12th. Family Lines GP16's 1811 and 1747 sit at the yard every week. 1811 runs the weekly train between Hickory and Whitnel which is about 17 miles from this spot. In this first photo we see GP16 1811 sitting on the mainline track.
