Article #37: NS ES40DC 7622 leading FRA Train Oyama Yard Hickory, NC (June 7th, 2020)

           

In this new article we are taking a look at the FRA train that was tied down at Oyama Yard in Hickory, NC back in June of 2020. The lead locomotive was ES40DC 7622 and behind it was the FRA unit and passenger car. This was a very rare occurance becuase this train usually does not travel over the Asheville District. The train was in the passing siding on a Sunday evening after coming in two days earlier.
