Article #27: NS P60 w/ GP60 7118 & GP38-2 5244 Oyama Yard Hickory, NC (June 4, 2020)

 

In this new article we get a look at NS P60 back on June 7th 2020. At that time, P60 originated at Barber Junction, NC and ran westbound to Oyama Yard. GP60 7118 and High Hood GP38-2 5244 were the locomotives leading the way. The train here is entering the yard lead track at the east end of Oyama Yard.

After uncoupling from the cars, the train swapped power. 7118 and 5244 were parked while 5263 and 5811 for the trip back to Barber.
