Article #25: Caldwell County Railroad GP16 1811 Running Hudson, NC (January 15, 2021)

 

In this new article we get a look at Caldwell County Railroad GP16 181 running through Hudson, NC on January 12, 2021. Here the locomotive is about to enter Downtown Hudson pulling 1 tanker back towards Hickory. 1811 and fellow GP16 1747 make up the entire roster of this railroad. Both are in original Family Lines paint. 1811's cab has been repainted for almost five years now. The plan is to repaint the locomotive into the full family lines paint scheme.
