Article #24: NS E11 w/ GP38-2 5644 & GP40-2 3048 Hickory, NC & Oyama Yard (February 12, 2022)

 

In this new article we are looking at a train that was seen back in February of 2022. It was NS E11 which ran between Oyama Yard and Old Fort, NC. That morning GP38-2 5644 and GP40-2 3048 pulled some work train cars from Oyama to Old Fort and then ran back to Hickory eastbound. Here we see the train at the S56 milepost.
