Article #19: NS 68V Limestone Train w/ ET44AC 3600 & ES44AC 8095 East Oyama Yard Hickory, NC (July 16, 2020)

 

In this new article we are taking a look at NS 68V back in July 2020. This train is a limestone train that runs on the S-Line which originates in Elmore, West Virginia and terminates at Sherrils Ford, NC near Catawba. Here it has ET44AC 3600 and ES44AC 8095 sitting in the passing siding at the east end of the yard at Oyama. This was a rare occurrence because the train usually runs around the train and heads the other direction at Claremont, NC, but this day it went up to Oyama.
