Article #13: NS P60 w/ SD40-2's 3277 & 6092 East Oyama Yard Hickory, NC (May 21, 2020)

 

In this new article we are looking at NS P60 back in May of 2020. The two locomotives are SD40-2's 3277 and 6092. This day, the train ran westbound from Barber, NC to Oyama Yard and back to Barber. That was the route for the train at that time. Then a couple of months later the train was rerouted to the Asheville, NC to Oyama route. Here it is heading onto the yard lead track from the mainline at the east end of the yard.

6092 which is a former Norfolk & Western locomotive trailing second.
