Article #6: NS P60 Power w/ ES44AC 8089 & ES40DC 7544 (November 2, 2024)

 

In this new article we are looking at some power sitting at Oyama Yard in Hickory, NC back on November 2, 2024. We see the power for NS P60 which consists of ES44AC 8089 and ES40DC 7544. Behind it is the power for P71 and P95 and those are GP38-3 5829 and GP60 7134 which is not in view. P60 was rerouted back in September after it ran between Asheville, NC and Oyama Yard for over four years. It currently runs between Oyama Yard and Linwood Yard near Spencer. The train starts up in the early evening and returns around midnight.
